Ombuds work has become quite specialized, and practitioner organizations have been formed which represent people working in a number of specialties within this overall term. Messrs. Gadlin, the Gottehrers, Mills, Rowe and Simon are good sources for advice on which of these specialist ombuds organizationsÂ’ officials might be most appropriate contacts for a given purpose.
