Organizational development has developed its own professional coterie, who often have little in common with dispute resolution professionals. Because it is debatable whether OD, standing by itself, is a form of dispute resolution, those who practice primarily in that field are treated as beyond the scope of this document. Noted here, however, are those neutrals who listed OD along with areas of professional practice which are clearly forms of dispute resolution.
